But Who Is This UFC Coach?
My name is John Hackleman.
I'm a 10th degree black belt, World Kickboxing Champion, and 44 year martial arts veteran!
But I used to struggle delivering power in my strikes.
That's because when I was a young amateur boxer, I was mostly a straight-jab kind of guy.
During my first professional fight, I didn't feel like I was generating enough power to get the respect of my opponent.
So instead of the liniar 1,2... I started letting loose with some haymaker type punches. I ended up Landing a left hook and knocking out my opponent in the first round.
The Left Hook has been my favorite strike since that very first amateur boxing match in 1974.
I have been using the left hook more than any other strike in all of my sites.
Now that I am a trainer, I spend a lot of time and energy studying, working on, evolving and teaching the left hook to some of the highest level martial artists in the world, including UFC Champions, World kickboxing Champions, World boxing champions.
Because my mission is to Create champions and empower protectors.
