Just got back from UFC Fort Lauderdale, where I was working Glover Teixeira's corner... Here are a few pictures of the trip.
Glover won by a vicious rear choke. His opponent tapped and he won. In the street, there is no tapping, And you have to assume that your attacker will not let go when you become unconscious, He will actually probably choke you to death. In the street, the standing rear choke is much more common, and below, this video on how to escape the standing rear choke. Please take this very seriously, Being choked is one of the most common street attacks, and can be fatal.
