Should you teach your kids, or martial arts student to throw the first punch?

This is a very controversial topic because it is been floating around for so long that we should never teach our children to throw the first punch, and that tends to carry-on into our adult life as well, but when you understand the mechanics of the blunt force trauma to their head and brain, you realize very quickly what a stupid notion that is, and we will get our kids injured or killed if we keep propagating this nonsense
